I am going to talk about the book called The Million Dollar Strike. The genre of this book is a bit of horror, anventure and mysterious because they had to figure out the mystery of the person who wanted Bowl -A- Rama yo be closed and what ever Squishy's dreams or nightmares was it came true and happened. This book is about two boys named Ouchie and Squishy but that is there nick name, there real names are Ryan and Stephen. Ryan was named Ochie because when he was little, he dropped a bowling ball on his toe. He hopped arround yelling "Ochie" for ten minutes and thats why Ryan was called Ochie. Stephen was called Squishy because his big brother Ronnie is really heavy and he usually sits on him all the time when they get in fights. They both love bowling, even if it isn't the coolest sport. And their favorite place to go bowling is Bowl-A-Rama. Squishy especially likes it because it's the perfect setting for a horror movie.He imagines about zombies and killer clowns. When the city council wants to condemn the decrepit bowling alley, Ouchie and Squishy are devastated. Then the boys meet Zamboni, the rich, totally nutty owner of Bowl-A-Rama. Despite Zambonie ( Mr. Z's) insistence that "the world is ending soon" a ghost told him. So Ouchie and Squishy manage to convince Mr. Z to keep Bowl-A-Rama open. Mr. Z allows the boys to restore the old alley, and even sponsors a million dollar strike contest to bring in customers. Squishy's most scary nightmare overactive imagination came to life. Someone or something wants Bowl-A-Rama's to be closed. Forever !!!!!!!
My rating is an 5/5 because it had an big mytery of finding who wanted to get Bowl-A-Rama closed forever and ir was amazing when they found out. My rating:

I liked the book because I think mystery books are good at the ending or when the mystery starts because the mytery gets solved but sometimes it doesn't get solved at the end and also it's really exciting to predict what is going to happen next.
I would recamend it to children that like mystery books or horror and adventure books because it is a mix of all of them and it is really exciting to read and predict what is going to happen next in the book. This book does not continue but there are different books that this author wrote.
